Become an Anywhere Photographer

Got an SLR 4 gazillion megawhatsits camera or maybe you just have a 2005 Nokia that can store five shots on its memory card?

Regardless, we would love your images. If you are interested in building up a portfolio of work the Anywhere Theatre Festival provides a unique opportunity with over fifty productions and 250 performances over ten days.

All you need to do is contact us with a link to some of your work and a quick (or long) email explaining why you’d like access to everything happening in the festival.

Doesn’t matter if it is video or still photography. If you’d like us to arrange access to performers, performances and maybe even the Festival Director then drop us an email to anyone@anywherefest.com line on the details at the bottom of the page.

Numbers are limited so contact us asap!

Become an Anywhere Reviewer

We think we’re asking a bit much to expect Brisbane’s network of critics to cover over fifty productions and 250 performances over twelve days. We hope they’ll see as much as they can, but man, will they need to get out an illegal amount of  Red Bull if they want to review everything.

That’s why we want you.

If you think you have what it takes to be one of the official but in no way influenced Anywhere Theatre Festival reviewers, we want to hear from you.

Who can enter? Anyone… unless you’re already in the employ of someone as a reviewer or involved in one of the festival productions.

All you need to do is send a review that you’ve written of something you’ve seen recently. How long does it need to be? How long is a piece of string… I mean a theatre review? It can be a standard 300 word review, youtube review, cartoon, anything as long as it is a review.

Why enter? Well, you get free tickets to as many of the productions as you want to attend at the Anywhere Theatre Festival between 8 – 19 May 2013. It’s a great opportunity to build up a portfolio of theatre criticism. We will publish the reviews on the Anywhere Theatre Festival web site and you’re also free to publish it yourself – we’re not expecting exclusivity.

You’ve got until Tuesday 30th of April to submit your theatre review. Email direct to anyone@anywherefest.com and we’ll reply to confirm we have received your submission.

Submissions will be reviewed and the successful Anywhere Theatre Festival reviewers  will be notified by Friday the 3rd of May.

The judges decision will be final, (unless they can’t decide and put it out to a public vote. ;-)
