Anywhere Associates positions now open

Due to the success of the Anywhere Activators and numerous requests, we are now accepting applications for Anywhere Associates.

Anywhere Associates is a core group of independent artists who feed into the planning and development of the Anywhere Theatre Festival. In return, they get an opportunity to be on the inside track of the festival planning, as well as having the ability to influence the direction of the festival.

For Anywhere Theatre Festival, the Artistic Associate takes the Anywhere Activator program to another level with a more concise focus that is possible due to the expertise of the people involved.

The yearly unpaid appointments will be primarily for independent practitioners focussing on production, acting, producing, directing, design, writing, administration and much more.

the initiative is also the next step in the succession planning for the festival and provides Artistic Associates the opportunity to express interest in a future role in the festival beyond this program and their own productions.

Artistic Associates will be limited to 5-7 people, plus either the AD or GM of Anywhere Theatre Festival Limited and will involve a monthly meeting. The first meeting will happen by late October 2012.
