
Anywhere Theatre Festival Ltd received $30,000 from Arts Queensland and temporary office space on the 3rd floor of the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts.
This year we have seven amazing festival hubs where you can see a number of festival shows in one place. They are providing a huge amount of in-kind support from rent free spaces to staffing, technical, marketing support and much more!
State Library of Queensland has been enriching the lives of Queenslanders for over a century. They are the primary custodian of Queensland’s documentary heritage.
Bell Bros. Building – Suites for Creative Industries is a beautiful heritage building situated at 57 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley that has a range of amazing office spaces for rent. Head to Jan Beevers Real Estate or go to a show to visit the space!
Jugglers Arts Space Inc is an Artist Run Organisation committed to supporting emerging artists across a broad range of genres. It was founded in 2002 to address the critical shortage of exhibition, performance and studio spaces available in Brisbane and to provide a vehicle for cultural inquiry.
Spanning over 2.5 kilometres of riverfront, Northshore is Brisbane’s largest and most exciting urban renewal project, revitalising former port and industrial land, to create a vibrant, new community. Northshore is partnering with the 2012 Anywhere Theatre Festival to create a performance hub at Macarthur Avenue in Hamilton and supporting the fit out of technical equipment for the space.
Hidden in an unsuspecting laneway along George Street in Brisbane CBD, Bird Gallery and Studio is Brisbane’s newest creative space. Stumble down the laneway between Irish Murphy’s and Flight Centre, and you’ll discover a ever changing and surprising space that caters for exhibitions, film screenings, pop up shops and functions.
Holland Park Bowls Club is another new hub for Anywhere, situated on Abbottsleigh Road. It is also home to Pushies Galore, the bicycle swap meet.
The Ecosciences Precinct in Dutton Park is also a Precinct Partner, providing access to some of their amazing public spaces for the festival launch, the Speed Networking Event and the performance of Viva Verdi.
Blackwood Street in Mitchelton has a diverse range of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance of bus, trains and easy car parking.
